Ludovicus Fransiscus Verheesen 1928-1983
Frans studied painting on a scholarship with the Antwerp Academy for the Arts in the 1940/50s before emigrating from The Netherlands to Australia in 1961 with his wife and three young children. He exhibited in The Netherlands as well as Australia and his works went to private collections in many countries around the globe.

Andrea Verheesen
Born in Australia in 1977, Andrea graduated as a mature age student with a Bachelor Degree in 2010 from Queensland College of Art - Griffith University, Southbank, Brisbane.
Prior to this she travelled extensively in Australia, The Americas and Europe.
Since graduating in 2010 she has been raising her daughter on country at Minjerribah - North Stradbroke Island.
